CLARKS HILL - Harold Lee Cuffel, 69, died at 9:15 PM Friday [Feb. 27, 1979] in Clinton County Hospital, Frankfort, where he had been a patient for a month. Born three miles southwest of Stockwell, he married Louise Showalter in 1928. Mr. Cuffel managed Hillcrest Mobile Home Park at Clarks Hill since retiring from farming.

Surviving with his widow are three daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Frosch of Indianapolis, Mrs. Arwilda Zapp of Oakland, CA, and Mrs. Mary Fisher of Jeffersonville; two sons, Malcolm Cuffel of Tampa, FL, and Ralph Cuffel with the U.S. Air Force in Thailand; a half-sister, Mrs. Haven Horney of Rt. 1, Colfax; a half-brother, Ernest Nydegger of Clarks Hill; and three grandchildren.
