He married a Reba Lillian, last name unknown, served in the Canadian Oversees Expeditionary Force in WWI, Married an Elsie Barbara Lett in British Columbia, she died 6mo into her first pregnancy. He drops of the record for 3 years and then reappears in Wisconsin where he married a woman much older than him, a widow named, Elizabeth ( Lizzy) (Little)Goldrick. Elizabeth was his third wife and they were divorced before her death. When she died he comes west, it appears to visit his mother and sister in Spokane Washington. By this time his mother had remarried after the death of his father, David Laforest Greely, a man named William H. Miller. He was their neighbor in Canada but they came to Spokane for some reason that is yet unknown. Winfield then met and married Mary Louella(Elizabeth) (Coates)Benward. Her first husband Charles had just died. With this marriage he had two children, Paul Winfield Greely and Marion Edward Greely. I have never been able to determine if he had children with his first wife Reba. If he did they were left in Canada.
