WILLIAM L. "BILL" KINKADE
William L. "Bill" Kinkade, 85, of Kansas City, Mo, passed away March 20, 2012. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday March 22nd at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home, with visitation 9:30 - 11:00 am. Graveside services are 12:00 pm Friday March 23rd at Evergreen Cemetery, Fayetteville, Ark. Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Baptist Church of North Kansas City or NorthCare Hospice. Bill was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a graduate of Fayetteville High School in 1947, where he was a star football player. He was the owner of Kinkade Tire Inc, in North Kansas City. He was a member and past president of the North Kansas City Breakfast Club and the North Kansas City Kiwanis Club. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of North Kansas City, and former member of the Mo Truck and Bus Assn. Bill loved gardening, the outdoors and gamebirds. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Kinkade, his parents, Elmer and Robbye Kinkade and brother, Ted Kinkade. Survivors include his sons, Bill Kinkade II, and wife, Vicki, Jim Kinkade, sister, Jane Ivey, grandchildren, Jason Kinkade, and wife Megan, Sarah Canovi, and husband, Marc, great grandchildren, Kelton and Liam Kinkade, Olivia and Ashton Canovi, cousins, nieces and nephews.
