MRS. HOWE DIES AT HUNNEWELL

Hunnewell, Mo., March 23. —Mrs. Drucilla Mayes Howe, 79, widow of James Wilson Howe, died Wednesday morning at her home.
Mrs. Howe was born in Shelby county, north of Hunnewell, a daughter of William and Sarah Robb Mayes. When a girl she moved with her parents to Texas. About four years later they returned to the Hunnewell community where she had since lived. She was married in 1882 to James Howe. He died eighteen years ago. They were the parents of five children.
Surviving are five children, Arthur Howe, of Kansas City, Hester Howe, of Galesburg and Ira, Sadie and Albert Howe at home; three brothers Joe Mayes of Moberly, and T. C. and R. K. Mayes, of Hunnewell, and a sister, Mrs. A. G. Babb. of Emden.
