Daughter ANNIE'S OBIT- [Altoona Tribune Saturday 1-10-1948 pg 12] Mrs. ANNIE BOYER, 203 East Tenth Street, Tyrone, and a life-long resident of Tyrone and Birmingham, died yesterday in Philipsburg, where she had been a patient for the past week. Mrs. Boyer suffered a fractured hip in a fall on the ice near her home and was taken to the hospital. Annie was born Jan. 1, 1866, at Birmingham, the daughter of 'HENRY' and 'AMANDA' (NEVILLE) BRYAN. She was married to S. Harvey Boyer who died Jan. 11, 1936. She is survived by a daughter, Miss Mary W. [1st Seaman] Boxer, Tyrone [b. Jan 1885]. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church and the Trinity Guild;

Son-in-Law, S. Harvey Boyer's OBIT- [Altoona Tribune Monday 1-13-1936 pg 10] Harvey Boyer, a prominent and lifelong resident of Tyrone died at his home, 203 East Tenth street, Tyrone, on Saturday evening it 9:25 o'clock following an extended illness with diabetes. Samuel Harvey Boyer was a son of John Jefferson and Mary (Stevens) Boyer and was born in Tyrone on October 11 1861. The Boyer's were pioneer residents of Tyrone and at the time of Boyer's birth his father was proprietor of the Ward House, Altoona… he was united in marriage with Miss Anne Bryan. Surviving are the wife and one daughter, Mary Boyer Seaman, and these, brothers and sisters: Bird Boyer and Jesse J. Boyer, of Al Park. N. J.; George Boyer of Tyrone…. Mr. Boyer was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church, a charter member of Good Will Council No. 42, Jr. O. U. A. M. and a member of Tyrone Lodge No. 212, B. F. O. Elks. Prior to his illness, Mr. Boyer was also associated with the Tyrone volunteer fire department. Mr. Boyer was associated with his father in the conduct of the Ward House, then one of Tyrone's leading hotels, and after his marriage he went into the restaurant business which he very successfully conducted for a period of over thirty years, retiring…..about 12 years ago. Funeral services will be held at the Trinity Episcopal Church….followed by burial at Grandview Cemetery-Tyrone.
