Tyler Boody, age 17, a resident of Little Falls, MN, died June 8, 1998, in Crow Wing County.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held June 12 at the Middle School gymnasium with Father Harold J. Kost officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Tyler was born and raised in Little Falls. He grew up loving to work and got started at an early age with mowing lawns and shoveling snow. He even had tennis shoes with lawn mowers on the bottom. Tyler loved to help his grandparents with any thing they needed done. Of course, the grandmas always had a special treat ready for him. He saved his money and last year bought himself some hunting land near the family cabin on Crow Wing Lake. He enjoyed going to 'his land' to cut trees and watch the deer. He planted many trees and was very proud of his land. Tyler bought a new 4-wheeler this year and loved riding the trails with his family. He was a junior last year at Little Falls Community High School and everyone knew when he was there as he parked his truck in his special place everyday. After school he went to the bus/garage where he worked on trucks, buses and was just 'Tyler'.
Survivors include his mother Linda LeMieur and husband Bob of Little Falls, his father, Gerald Boody and wife Tammy of Bowlus, MN; sisters, Heidi Boody and fiance Bill Strong of Little Falls, Ivy LeMieur of Little Falls, Kris and Jessica Peterick, and Katie Boody of Bowlus; brothers, Logan, Cody, and Sam Boody of Bowlus; grandparents, Bob and Audrey Eix of Little Falls, Frank and Elaine Boody of Little Falls and Lorraine LeMieur of Little Falls.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bob LeMieur Sr.; and an aunt, Mary Eastman.
Honorary casketbearers were the class of 1999.
Casketbearers were Jessica Waddell, Michelle Kaiser, Justin Luberts, Chad Newman, Landon Westerman, Andy Pantske, Kelly Rutz, Chris Burgardt, Mike and Dan Golombiecki.
