Services for Ruby Mae Lea, of Sontag, were 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, at Shiloh Baptist Church in Sontag with burial in the church cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lea, 95, died April 19, 2009, at Lawrence County Nursing Center in Monticello. She was born in Copiah County on April 1, 1914, to William Morgan Chance and Esther Hall Chance.
She was a retired cattle farmer and a homemaker. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Callie Curtis "Curt" Lea; a daughter, Madge McManus; her brothers, Aubrey Chance, Denver Chance, Buford Chance and Curtis Chance; a sister, Sybil Kinchen; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.
Survivors are her sons, Curtis Glen Lea and Ronnie Lea, both of Sontag; a daughter, Faye Frankenhiem, of Sontag; and a sister, Kathryn Moore, of Jackson; her eight grandchildren; and her 11 great-grandchildren.
