Raymond "Beanie" Arigoni, Sr.
(February 12, 1925 - March 19, 2012)

ARIGONI, Raymond Sr. "Beanie", 87, of Bannock, Ohio died Monday, March 19, 2012 at Ohio Valley Medical Center.

He was born February 12, 1925 in Uniontown, Ohio, son of the late Joseph and Irene Arigoni.

Beanie was retired from Consolidation Coal Company.

He was a decorated veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II; He was a life member of the VFW Post 5356 and the American Legion Post 159 both of St. Clairsville; the Eagles Aerie of St. Clairsville; the Polish Club and the United Mine Workers of America.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Teophilia Korba Arigoni; an infant son, John Arigoni; four brothers, Carl, Ed and Leonard Arigoni and John Sikie; two sisters, Lena Mizarek and Anne Club.

Surviving are two daughters, Mary Ann (Rick Phillips) Arigoni of St. Clairsville and Cindy (Brian) Eaton of Belpre, Ohio; a son, Raymond J. (Diane) Arigoni Jr. of Bannock; two sisters, Margaret Santini and Edythe McElory; six grandchildren, Dr. Christina (Dr. Don) Nyguen, Christopher Eaton, Nathaniel Eaton, Kelvin Eaton, Ramie Arigoni and Tia Arigoni; two great grandchildren, Alexander and Evan.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., where services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m., with Father Frederick Kihm officiating.

Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Belmont County Honor Guard of the VFW at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday in the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
