HICKSVILLE -- Ronald D. Gipple, 65, of Hicksville, Ohio, died at 10:33 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2012, shortly after admittance to Community Memorial Hospital in Hicksville.

Mr. Gipple retired from Federal Fertilizer in Butler, Indiana, where he worked as a foreman. He was a member of Hicksville Eagles Aerie 2556. Ronald D. Gipple was born on August 9, 1946, in Butler, Indiana, the son of Ora J. and Thelma (Weldy) Gipple. He married Loretta M. Harp on June 14, 1986, in Hicksville, and she survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Toby (Amy) Gipple of Bryan, Ohio, and Rodney (Kay) Baxter of Grove, Oklahoma; one daughter, Misty Mattern, of Hicksville; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; six sisters, Shirley Gipple of Auburn, Indiana, Veronica (Bud) Yoder, Patsy Gipple, Donna (James) Wasson, Mary (Rich) Waters and Linda Gipple, all of Hicksville; three brothers, Eddie (Sue) Gipple of Montpelier, Ohio, his twin, Donald (Becky) Gipple of Toledo, Ohio, and Dennis (Carol) Gipple of Hicksville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Vesta Bowen; four sons, Larry, Joey and Henry Thomas Baxter and Billy Hueppelsheuser; and two brothers, Ora Gipple Jr. and Calvin Gipple.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio. Services will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, with Pastor George Goller officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton.
