Mr. Hardy Max Dean, 82 of Cedar Bluff passed away Monday, March 19, 2012 Redmond Regional Medical Center. Mr. Dean was a native of Cherokee County. He was a Korean War veteran and a member of the Little River Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 1 pm (CDT) Thursday, March 22, 2012 at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Woody Wood and Rev. Richard Stancell officiating. Burial will follow in Daniel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 pm (CDT) Wednesday. Perry Funeral Home directing. www.perryfuneral.net.

Survivors include son, Gregory M. (Jami) Dean, Blue Ridge, Georgia, brother, Jimmy (Lynn) Dean, Cedar Bluff, sisters, Wanda Lee Hammond, Fort Payne, Shelby Lindley, Daingerfield, Texas, and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Dean was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Mary Daniel Dean.
