Judson Rodgers, aged 75 years, died at his home, Volant R. D. 2, at 2:20 p.m. Friday, following an illness of about three years. Mr. Rodgers was born on the same farm where he died on the 17th of December 1860, son of Thomas and Allie Dean Rodgers. He passed his lifetime in the farming occupation and was a member of the Plaingrove Presbyterian church. His wife, Ida Luella Blackstone Rodgers, to whom he had been married 50 years, died two years ago. Surviving are three sons, Floyd W., of Volant R. D. 2, Guy M., of Moline, Ill., and Charles N., at home. Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the residence, with the Plaingrove Presbyterian minister, Rev. J. Leslie Bell, in charge, and interment will be made in the church cemetery.
