Pauline was the first wife of Rudolph Meyer. They married in Marshall County, IL on Febr. 2, 1871. She moved with Rudolph to Adams County, NE in 1873 where they homesteaded. Four children were born to Rudolph and Pauline. Three died in infancy, or as very young children. A daughter, Auguste Florentine, was born on May 25, 1877.
