Born to Julius and Elizabeth Henman (per cousin should be Herrman, Henman printed in obit) Eisenbraun, she married Louis Cunningham 01 May 1939 in Bell Fourche, South Dakota.

She and Louis lived in Rapid City before moving to Sioux Falls where Louis died in 1977. Madaline moved in 1998 to Sherburne County, Minnesota to be surrounded by loved ones. She was brought 'home' for burial next to her beloved.

Cunningham, Madaline Elisebeth (Eisenbraun) 90, passed away peacefully January 1, 2007 at Elim Home in Princeton, Minnesota. Madaline was born August 23, 1916 in Wewela, South Dakota. She was the daughter of Julius and Elizabeth (Henman) Eisenbraun. Madaline was united in marriage to Louis F. Cunningham on May 1, 1939 in Bell Fourche, South Dakota. Madaline and Louis lived in Rapid City before moving to Sioux Falls, where she resided until the fall of 1998. Madaline worked as a cook for the Nickel Plate in Sioux Falls for 25 years. Madaline enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and making crafts. She loved gardening in her flower beds. She was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral. Madaline was a member of American War Mothers, Gold Star Mothers, and the VFW Auxiliary 628. She enjoyed meeting weekly with her bible study group and volunteering for St. Joseph Cathedral Church. She also worked the voting booths in her district during election years. Madaline moved to Princeton, MN in October 1998 to spend her remaining years surrounded by love with her family. Madaline is survived by her daughter, Anita (Wendell) Olson, Watertown, SD; son, Andrew (Arlene) Cunningham, Zimmerman, MN; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; twin sister, Rosina Brown, Largo, FL; sister, Katryn Sheldon, TX; and brother, Edmund "Pete" Eisenbraun, Lexington, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Louis J.; three sisters and two brothers. Visitation will be Thursday 5 PM at Barnett- Lewis Funeral Home with a Scripture Vigil at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Cathedral. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Joseph Cathedral.
