Lieutenant Alphonzo T. BRAUCHER, Second Lieut. In the Defiance Company in the 38th Regiment, and son of Isaac Braucher of this vicinity, died suddenly on Wednesday morning last in Kentucky. His friends received a dispatch on Wednesday morning that he was very sick, and at noon another that he was dead. He was about 30 years of age, of robust health, and of exemplary habits and it could only be extreme hardships that could so soon have worn him down.
