He was son of William Jasper Fincher and Elizabeth Meers.
He was a Loving,Faithful,Compassionate man.
He ran a Grocery Store,on Marietta Street in Downtown Atlanta.
and prior to that,he worked for the Railroad.
In his later years he operated a Concession Stand,outside the Animal house at Grant Park Zoo. He and his wife had 10 children(two of them,two of them died as infants,their names were Eva Jeanette and Lita Lame) His wife died at 40 and he stoodby their children and reared them! Some of my fondest and most impressionable memories of him was..when I'd spend the night with him..he got down on his knees by the bed and said his prayers!
