Luther L. Gentry, 79, of Bald Knob, AR., died Sunday, March 18, 2012, at the White County Medical Center in Searcy.
He was born February 11, 1933, in Illinois, to the late Mack Luther and Mildred Quinn Gentry.
Mr. Gentry was a very talented individual, possessing a wide variety of skills as a carpenter, auto body and paint man and landscaper. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed gardening and flowers. He was a member of the Assembly of God in Bald Knob.
He is survived by: his wife, Emogene (Worthington) Gentry; children, Nancy Bryant of Naples, Florida, Jimmy Cullum of Beebe, Judy Usrey of Bald Knob, Jeanie Clark of Naples, Florida, Carolyn Stanton of Louisiana, Kathy Johnston of Ohio, Marilyn Smith of Searcy, Judy Pendarbis of Florida, Mike Gentry of Bald Knob, Danny Cullum of Bald Knob, Timmy Cullum of Bald Knob, Alan Gentry of Bald Knob; brothers, Larry Gentry of Bald Knob and Kenny Gentry of Michigan; sister, Carol Hamilton of Naples, Florida; numerous grand-children and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: children, Luther (Jr.) Gentry, Brenda Martin, Timmy Gentry, Annette Gentry, David Cullum; sister, Ruth Stewart; brother, Clyde Gentry; grandchildren, Collins Lloyd and Jeremy Wayne Smith.
Services will were at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was in the Prince Cemetery by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob-Judsonia.
