Thomas R. Adams was born April 25, 1913 in Perry County, Mo. to Joseph Henry Vincent and Mary Burgee Adams. His siblings include Burton of St. Mary's, Lloyd of State College, Pa., Roy of El Cajon, Calif., Ralph of Morganza, La., Marie Lawf of Perryville, Mo., and Mildred Adkins of Chicago. He was preceded in death by three brothers.
He married Wilma V. Morrison Aug. 24, 1935, in St. Mary's Mo. His children include Shirley Mae Reiman and Helen Pinkerton, both of Murphysboro. One son, Joseph, preceded him in death.
Mr. Adams was a retired farmer, a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church and the Jackson County Farm Bureau.
He died at the age of 69 at his home.
