James Wallace Mikell, Sr. age 85 of Jacksonville, passed away March 14, 2012. He is survived by his wife Louise (Gill), daughters Cheryl (Mike) McIntyre, Callahan; Terri Bowen, Jacksonville; Tammy (Gary) Foxworth, Jacksonville; Kenneth (Barbara) Mikell, Callahan. He is predeceased by his son James W. Mikell Jr. James is also survived by brothers D.C. Mikell, Ft. Lauderdale and Bobby Mikell, Jacksonville. He has 10 grandchildren and 7 Grt. Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave. on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 11 am. Pastor Lee Whitaker of the Kings Road Baptist Church will officiate. Interment at the Jacksonville National Cemetery will be at a later date. Visitation at the funeral home will be Friday, March 16, 2012 5-7pm. Family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be to the Kings Road Baptist Church.
