"WORCESTER. Floyd VanDusen, a prominent business man of Worcester, died at the Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, Tuesday, as the result of pneumonia with which he had suffered since the middle of January. Born at Portlandville, June 25, 1869, he was a son of Cornelius and Margaret (Wilber) VanDusen. March 27, 1902, he married Miss Mabel Griggs of this village. Mrs. VanDusen died three years ago. He had been a resident of Worcester for forty years. Mr. VanDusen was a great lover of outdoor sports and spent much time hunting and fishing ... Surviving are one nephew, Leon VanDusen of Richmondville, and several cousins. He also leaves Alva Silvernail of Endicott, who grew up in the VanDusen home and was held in great affection by Mr. VanDusen."
