Pam Greenfield, a longtime Cushing resident, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2012 in her home surrounded by her family at the age of 53 years. The daughter of the late Curtis H. Hanna and Grace (Cooper) Hanna, Pam was born on January 24, 1959 in Fairfax, OK.

She grew up in Cushing, graduating in 1977 from Cushing High School where she was also a cheer leader. As a young girl, Pam began taking dance lessons at a local studio. She would stay and clean the studio to help pay for her tuition and later helped teach the younger girls as she continued her lessons. As Pam continued dancing in school she would work part time at Sonic and at Snyder's IGA in Cushing. Following high school she was united in marriage to Mike Biswell and to this union two children, Kara Jean and Roy, were born.

Pam returned to the Cushing area in 1991 to help take care of her father who was battling cancer. Shortly after the death of her father, Pam met Curtis Greenfield in 1991, whom she attended school with in Cushing. They have been together ever since, getting married on July 7, 2000 in Shawnee, OK.

Throughout her life Pam continued to dance and in 1992 she opened up her own studio in Cushing. She was a member of the T-Town Ladies line dancing group from Tulsa that won a National Championship in 1994. She continued teaching dance until 2000 and eventually went to work as an accountant in the OSU Mailing Department.

But Pam's greatest joys were spending time with her family and going camping. She often reminisced about her summer trips with her parents and her short trips to Keystone Lake and her vacations to Cookson Bend on Lake Tenkiller with her husband Curtis. Many will remember Pam for her skills as a dancer, a water skier, and her love of animals. Pam was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in Cushing, OK on February 24, 2012.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; four children; two sisters; one brother; five grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, one daughter, Kara Jean Biswell and several aunts and uncles preceded Pam in death.

Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, OK and will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 20, 2012 in the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn, Cushing, OK. Burial will follow in the Parkland Cemetery, Parkland, OK.
