1940 Census shows John as a servant at Mount Saint Marys Seminary in Norwood, Hamilton Co, OH. His twin sister Rose Ann was also working at the same place at the same time.

MILITARY: On 30 Sep 1942 John enlisted in the Army in Cincinnati, OH. At the time of his enlistment he was listed as a janitor and was single.
