Rev Avelone Cavaness was an Assemblies of God Missionary for about 40 years. She and her husband, R.B. Cavaness, served the lord in Ambon,Indonesia, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She was fluent in the Malay and Indonesian languages and taught Bible school in Indonesian in Malang, Indonesia. She was survived by R.B., her son Paul, and her daughters Christie Forester, Carole Brooks and Cindy Simmons.
