Emma Jones was the daughter of James Roy Jones and Pearl Shelton. She is survived by two brothers, Danny Jones and Ricky Jones, and two sisters, Darlene and Judy. She lived in Asheville for a good part of her life. She moved to Mount Airy, NC and lived there for a while. She has two daughters, Christy McCormack, who resides in Asheville, and Ashley, who lives in Mount Airy. She will be remembered for her style and grace, as well as the way she held herself through 20 years of Multiple Sclerosis. She was a gentle and soft-spoken person and found peace and solace in spiritually toward the end of her life.
