Son of George Newton Adriance (1896-1983) and Neva Dills (1893-1977), of Moses Lake, WA. Anti-nuclear and anti-war crusader. For many years, he wrote letters to the editor to newspapers and magazines from his home in Moses Lake on such topics as the dangers of nuclear reactors, his opposition to the Vietnam War, and the immorality of hunger in an affluent society. He wrote from a Christian perspective, decrying what he often regarded as an affront to God.
