LANE, RAY K. - age 76 of White Pine, departed this life, Wednesday, September 25, 2002 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.

He was retired employee of BASF with over 40 years of service. Veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a combat veteran of World War II and was of the Baptist faith.

Preceded in death by father and mother, C.C. & Georgia Lane brother, John Lane.

Survivors: wife, Mary Sue Lane sons & daughters in law, Charles R. & Trish Lane, Harold D. & Dorothy Lane grandsons, Keith, Kenny & Jeff Lane granddaughter, Tammy Lane brother, J.C. Lane brother & sister in law, Tidience & Anna Mae Lane sister & brother in law, Gladys & Yang Holiway several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services Friday 8 p.m. at Farrar White Pine Chapel with Rev. Randy Irons officiating. Interment graveside service Saturday, 11 a.m. at Walnut Grove Cemetery (Sevier Co.) with military honors by the Volunteer State Honor Guard. Family will receive friends Friday evening 6-8 p.m. prior to services at Farrar Funeral Home, White Pine.
