Mrs. Mildred Payseur Jackson of Route 1, Box 5A, Sherwood Dr., died Jan. 25, 1991, at Kings Mountain Hospital. Funeral is 3 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Bessemer City, where she was a member. The Revs. Sam Murphy, A.A. Bailey and Dick Whitener will officiate. Burial is at Mount Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jackson, a schoolteacher, was a native of Gaston County, daughter of the late Fox and Margaret Black Payseur. She taught Sunday school at First Baptist for 28 years and was a charter member at Mount Beulah Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, Coy Jackson; son, Don Jackson of Hickory; daughters, Mrs. Jeannine Rogers; Mrs. Pam Simmons of Gastonia; sister, Mrs. Annie Beam of Cherryville; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
