Body of Woman Found in Truckee.
TRUCKEE, Calif., Nov. 20.
Constable Tom Dolley reported today the body of a woman, who had registered at a Truckee Hotel as Anna Adams of Philadelphia was found on a bank of Donner Creek about a mile and a half west of here yesterday.
Two grammar school boys came upon the body, 150 yards from the highway.
The woman checked in at the hotel Friday night and left the next morning.
Dolley said the woman was frozen but the cause of death was unknown. There were no fractures or bruises, and an autopsy failed to reveal internal injuries. She had apparently been dead several days.
