Julia "Judy" Brown, a native of Bessemer, and long-time resident of Gulf Shores, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012. She was 60 years old. She was a graduate of Bessemer High School and attended Jacksonville State University. She is preceded in death by her father, Norman K. "Tiger" Brown and mother, Dorothy Colquitt Brown. She is survived by her only child, daughter, Alyson McQueen Pearson; sister, Dorothy Brown; and brother Norman Brown Jr. Funeral services were March 17 at Pine Rest Funeral Home. Interment was in Pine Rest Memorial Park.
