Theophilus WILT was a farmer/laborer. On 8 June 1824, his father apprenticed him to Michael Wilt (Theophilus' uncle) in Allegany County, Maryland. Theophilus married about 1833, Delilah DUCKWORTH. They were the parents of thirteen children (WILT): John Wesley, 1834; Eliza Ann, 1836; Goulda C., 1837; George W., 1838; Dorcas Ellen, 1839; Emily Jane, 1841; William H., 1842; Thornton, 1843; James Alexander, 1845; Salem, abt. 1846; Thomas Jefferson, 1850; Martha Olive, 1852; and Peter M., 1854.

Rounds Cemetery is located on the farm formerly owned by Theophilus and Delilah (Duckworth) Wilt on Savage River Rd., Garrett Co., Maryland, about 1/2 mile above Big Run Rd. Theophilus and Delilah Wilt are buried there, without markers.
