Pamela Marie Fisher, age 62, of Frederick, danced and sang her way out all the way to heaven with her long-time friend Jesus Christ on Wednesday, March 14, 2012.

Services will be at 2 p.m Saturday in First United Methodist Church in Frederick with Dr. Eric Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery out near the Deep Red Creek Community under direction of Jackson Funeral Home.

Pam was born on July 1, 1949, in Frederick, Okla., and was the first child of Walter and Myrtha Fisher. They raised Pam and her sister and two brothers on their dairy farm located in the Deep Red Creek Community northeast of Frederick.

Always surrounded by lots of activity and lots of family, Pam embraced it all with a quiet delightfulness, happy to help and always eager to hug. She helped her mother run a busy household and spent a lot of her time in picking fruit and vegetables from as many as five home gardens at a time and preparing the bounty for canning and freezing.

Walter died on May 19, 1993, and a couple of years later Pam moved with her mother to live in Frederick where she enjoyed attending services at First United Methodist Church.

Pam had been living in University Park Care Center in Wichita Falls since last September when she began to need physical assistance for daily living. She readily adapted to the change of pace and made a host of new friends in the process.

Pam's brother Grant died Sept. 14, 1972, in an industrial accident. She is survived by her mother, who resides in Frederick; her sister, Laurie Beth and her husband Rex Fillmore of Frederick; her brother, Bruce and his wife Glenda, of Wichita Falls, Texas; niece Jessica and her husband Brian Sheffield of Frederick and their children Dylan, Alexis and Talan; niece Amy Fillmore of Vernon, Texas, and her children Taen and Tavaras; nephew Dustin Fillmore and his wife Dawn and their son Trenton of Blanchard, Okla.; niece Jennifer Saucedo and her husband Eric of Corpus Christi, Texas, and their children Willah, Jeremiah, Emilee and Alanna; niece Jaymee and her husband Maurizio Madonna of Fiume Veneto, Italy, and their daughter Sophia; nephew Casey Fisher and his wife Monica and their son Joshua, of Wichita Falls, Tx.; long-time friend Brenda Fisher of Wichita Falls; a host of other cousins and family members; and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Methodist Children's Home through the First United Methodist Church in Frederick, 12th& Grand, Frederick, Okla. 73542.
