Elodee, 75, Willshire, died at 6:28 a.m., at Community Health Professionals, Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was a daughter to Harry E. and Edith E. (Snyder) Nye. On Aug 21, 1954, she married Thomas E. Marbaugh, who survives in Willshire.

Also surviving are a son, Chris (Cecilia), Willshire; three daughters: Gayla Painter and Annette (Ronald) Schumm, both Willshire, and Kelly Ross, Antwerp; and thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a son-in-law, Lewis "Boose" Painter; and an infant brother.

She was a former member of the Willshire United, Methodist Church, where she served as treasurer for many years. She was a charter member of the Van Wert and Mercer County Genealogy Society and authored several books on the subject. She was a homemaker and had served as clerk/treasurer for the village of Wren and worked at the Van Wert County Probate Court.

Services are at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, IN, the Rev. Brad Kittle officiating.
