BECKETT Roberta Mae Seymour Beckett, 83, of Overland Park, Kan., passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012. She was born April 4, 1928 in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Charles T. and Mabel (Parnham) Stapleton. Survivors include her brother, Charles P. Stapleton (Patricia) of Kansas City, Kan.; two children, Tom (Sherri) Seymour of Arlington, Texas and Debi Spiller of Olathe, Kan.; three step- children, Carla (Beckett) (Jim) Hall of Peoria, Ill., Marsha (Beckett) (Dwayne) Enloe of Liberty, Mo., and Lizabeth (Beckett) (Chris) Ballard of Haviland, Kan.; two grandchildren, Ben Stoffer and Angela Keeton; six step grandchildren; two great grandchildren; seven step-great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Robert C. Seymour and her second husband, Carl L. Beckett, and her two sisters, who died in infancy. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park. Visitation will be held one hour prior.
