William Hall Price died as a child at the age of 7. he was the younger brother of Major Richard Channing Price CSA and Captain Thomas Randolph Price Jr CSA., of the War Between the States. Major Price was the Assistant Adjutant General for Major General J.E.B. Stuart's Cavalry. He rode with Stuart during the his famous ride around McClellan from June 12, - June 15, 1862. He was fatally wounded at Catherine Furnace during the battle of Chancellorsville at the age of 20, 2 weeks after his promotion to Major and AAG. Captain Price was an Engineer officer for J.E.B. Stuart's Calvary, and survived the war. Afterwards, Thomas Jr. became Professor of Languages at Columbia University in New York. William Hall Price was also the great Grandson of Bishop Richard Channing Moore, Bishop of Virginia.
