Company when during the Battle of Goliead, March 27, 1836, was killed with 1000 men including their leader Col. James W. Fannin. Was buried at the site.
Isabella went to Houston Co, Texas with her minor children and settled there, in Grapeland, Texas.
Margaret Jean married Dr. John Collins from Ireland as well.
They had three children;
John, Eliza and Belle Collins.
She died in this place of the memorial.
