Doris Marie Grogan, of Red Oak, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012. Graveside service and interment will be 12 Noon Saturday, March 17, 2012, at the Red Oak Cemetery with Pastor Dennis King officiating.
Doris Marie was born in Irving, Texas,to the late Sylvester and Hattie Anderson. She married Phillip Grogan on August 13, 1955. She loved embroidering. Doris was a loving mother and grandmother.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 51 year, Phillip, on August 26, 2006; and sister, Mary Frances Cadenhead.
Survivors include her sons, Phillip Glen Grogan and family, of Colleyville, Raymond Neugent and family, of Waxahachie, Dennis Grogan and family, of Plano; daughters, Patty Holmes and family, of Blue Ridge, Jonna Strickland and family, of Trophy Club, Phyllis Powell and family, of Cedar Hill, Theodonna Grogan and daughters, of Red Oak, and Sherrie Dawkins and family, of Arlington; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Joel Anderson and wife, Irma, Wayne Anderson and wife, Jackie, and David Anderson and wif,e Christine; and many other family members and friends.
