Kenneth I. "Bud" Baker, 91, Rockwood, passed away on March 11, 2005, at Meyersdale Medical Center. Born Sept. 15, 1913, in Black Township, he is the son of the late Isaiah and Catherine (Weimer) Baker. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ferne M. (Pletcher) Baker; infant son, Keith; daughter, Edna Ward and son, Karl Baker. Also preceded in death by sisters, Emma Pletcher, Grace Long, June Walker and Ruth Gindlesperger and brothers, Charles and Clarence Baker. He is survived by his children, Elaine, married to Lester Trent, Rockwood, Kenneth Baker, married to Brenda, Royersford, Esther, married to Truman Sanner, Garrett, and Ethel, married to Larry Spoone, Central City; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and sister, Pauline Dupont, Rockwood. He was a farmer and worked in mines most of his life. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where a service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Timothy Shivler, officiating. Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
