Elisha Wallen was the husband of Margaret Jane Graham. She was the sister of Joseph D. Graham. The Wallens came to Wolfe County shortly after the Civil War and lived there for many years. Elisha Wallen died between 1883-1884. I base this on his disappearance from the tax rolls. His widow Jane Graham Wallen left with most of her children about 1885 and settled in Washington Co., Arkansas. I am not certain that Elisha Wallen is buried here; however, no grave for him has ever been discovered anywhere else. I believe it is very logical to assume that he would have been buried here.
