Union Local Leader-Bobby Dean Goode
Bobby Dean Goode, 61, who had been president of Graphic Communications Union Local No. 415 since 1986, died Saturday at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn after a long illness.
Mr. Goode, of Burbank, previously lived on Kilbourn Avenue near Midway Airport, in Chicago. He coached boys baseball for many years and was a Marine Corps veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Edith; a son, Steve Garren; two daughters, Betty Thomas and Martha Hammons; two brothers, Sam and Harold; his parents, Fait and Daisy; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held from 2 to 9 pm at Lawn Funeral Home, 7909 State Rd., Burbank. Services were at the funeral home, with burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Justice.
