Evelyn Hewlett Dunn
Portsmouth - Evelyn Hewlett Dunn, 89, passed away March 11, 2012. She was born in Portsmouth, Va. the daughter of the late Edna Wimbrough Hewlett and Edward Hewlett. She was predeceased by her husband, Otto Leroy Dunn Sr. ; and brothers, Carl, Elsworth, and Earl Hewlett. She attended Suffolk Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Evelyn is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Otto L. Dunn, Jr. and Janice Dunn of Portsmouth, VA, Earl F. and Tammy Dunn of Windsor, VA; grandchildren, Aaron Dunn, Amber Moose, Tracy Dunn, Jamie Vierrether, and Eric Dunn; and 6 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 15, at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA with Rev. Don Milner officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Chesapeake, Va. Friends may join the family Wednesday night from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , Southeastern VA Chapter, 6350 Center Dr., Suite 102, Norfolk, Va. 23502.
