Pauline Clark 79,of DeKalb, Texas died Saturday February 21,2004 in a Texarkana hospital. Mrs. Clark was born September 16,1924 in Bowie County, Texas. She was a homemaker, owner and operator of Clark’s Nursery and Landscaping and a member of Ladies Auxillary and Pinkham Memorial Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceaded in death by two great-grandchildren, Emily Clark and Haleigh Walton. Survivors include her husband, Lanan V. Clark Sr. of DeKalb; four sons, Gary Clark, Keith Clark, and L.C. Clark of DeKalb; two daughters, Patsy Parker and Wanda Bishop of DeKalb; two sisters, Iva McShane and Dorothy Grimes of Weatherford, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rufus Castro officiating. Burial will be in Woodmen Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
