Frank Bernard Snouwaert, age 70, a prominent farmer in this area for the past 44 years, died at 5 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 1967, at Home Hospital, Lafayette, IN. He had been ill for two years and a patient at the hospital for two weeks.
Born February 23, 1897, at Attica. IN, he was the son of Edward and Luella Oteham Snouwaert. He was married February 23, 1923 to Inis Kantz. He was educated at the Jackson Township High School.
Survivors include the wife, a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Ward of R R 1, Linden, IN; two brothers, Howard of RR Crawfordsville and Wayne of RR Wingate; two sisters, Mrs. Louise Albregts and Mrs. Irene Van Tress, both of Lafayette and two grandchildren, Cynthia Anne and Teresa Kay Ward.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, July 20, 1967, at the Helms Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Roy W. Michel in charge. Mrs. Betty Edwards played selected number on the organ.
Burial was in the Linden Cemetery July 25, 1967. Pallbearers who assisted with the flowers were A.B.Coopman, Robert Royer, Oscar Burton Jr., Ernest Allen, Harold Maguire and Herbert Switzer.
