Ione Correll, 87 of Bridgeport, died Saturday, July 22, 2000, at the Heritage of Bridgeport. She was born March 29. 1913, at Bridgeport, Neb.,to William and Wilhemina Middlesteadt Hall. She was raised and educated in Bridgeport and graduated from Bridgeport High School with the Class of 1932. She was united in marriage to Charles Wood, April 10, 1935, in Bridgeport. She worked for Bun's Drug Store, the L. B. Murphy Co. and Safeway, all of Bridgeport, for many years. After the death of her husband Charles in 1974, she was united in marriage to the Rev. Bernard F. Correll, Sr, February 10. 1981, in Bridgeport.
She was a member of the F. O. E. Aerie #2813 Auxiliary and Rebekah Lodge.
She is survived by her sisters, Iva Stender of Bridgeport, and Maxine Malone of San Jose, Calif.; numerous nieces and nephews; and four step-children. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, three sisters and one brother.
She was a member of the F. O. E. Aerie #2813 Auxiliary and Rebekah Lodge.
