PORT LAVACA — Lee G. Brooks, 79, of Port Lavaca died Monday, April 15, 1996.
He was born April 26, 1916, in Stephenville to the late Frank A. and Ossie Starr Brooks. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Brooks was a retired mechanic and was a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Survivors: son, Tom Brooks of Port Lavaca; and three grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: wife, Dorothy Ellen Brooks in 1992.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Port Lavaca Cemetery, the Rev. O'Quin Kelly officiating with burial under the auspices of VFW Post No. 4403. Richardson Funeral Home, Port Lavaca, 361-552-2988.
