Grace Cozart
Grace Cozart, 94, 604 N. Main St., Carrier Mills, died 9:40 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10 at Harrisburg Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 13, 2006 at Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Harl Cockrum and the Rev. Derek Downs officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery near Carrier Mills. Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12 at the funeral home.
She was born Aug. 26, 1911 in Saline County to Charlie and Lennie (Parks) Brothers. On Nov. 11, 1931, she married Myrel Cozart, who preceded her in death May 25, 1987.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carrier Mills.
She is survived by a daughter, Shirley (Roy) Baur of Carrier Mills; a son, Richard (Shirley) Cozart of Carrier Mills; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and a half brother.
