Ida Boigegrain, 2121 Mesa Dr., died Sunday evening September 23, 1973 in Mesa Vista Nursing Home,she was 94.
Miss Boigegrain was born in Boulder, October 4, 1876 to Marie and Leander Boigegrain lived here all her life. She attended Boulder Prep School and Mount St. Gertrude Academy, continuing her education at St. Mary's Academy, Denver.
During her childhood and early life she resided with her aunt as her parents had died. She and her aunt were proprietor's of Lane's Rooms at 13th St. and Walnut, now the site of the James Motel.
Miss Boigegrain was a retired clerk, formerly in the Boulder County Clerks office under Francis Beckwith and J. Etta Coon.
Miss Boigegrain was a member of the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Club, Inc. She was also a charter member and historian of the Boulder Business and Professional Women's Club in which she was named Woman of the year in 1960. She was also the oldest member of the Altar and Rosary Society.
She was a member of the Sacared Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
Survivors include two cousins, Alberta Forsyth, Niwot, and May Walter, Reynoldsberg, Ohio. A brother preceded her in death.
Rosary will be recited today at 7 p.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Mass will be sung Wednesday at 9 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. The Benedictyine Fathers will officiatec. Interment will be in Green Mountain Cemetery.
