Carter E. Calder

Carter E. Calder, 78, of 1535 Kansas died Wednesday at a Kansas City, Mo. hospital. He was a native of Minden, Neb., and was a member of Masonic lodge 90, VFW, Spanish-American War veterans Assn., and American Legion.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. F.L. Burson of Corpus Christi, Mrs. Paul White of East Chattanooga, Tenn., and Mrs. J.N. Curry of the home; three sons, C.E. Calder of Dodge City, J.R. Calder of Fulton, Mo., and A.B. Calder of 2537 Beverley Court; a sister, Mrs. Maude Miner of La Mesa, Calif.; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wall-Diffenderfer chapel with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.
