Hon. Byron Paine died last night, January 13, at twenty minutes past nine o'clock. He was born in Painesville, Ohio, October 10, 1828. He removed to Milwaukee with his parents in November, 1847. He studied law there with his father, Gen. James H. Paine, and was admitted to practice in 1849.
His parents had three children - two sons and a daughter; his parents and his sister survive him. He leaves a wife and three sons; the eldest about 13 years of age.
