Funeral services in memory of Saul P. Farren, who died at Warren about 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, November 12, were conducted in the Rockland M. E. church Tuesday afternoon by Rev. W. B. Allison. Mr. Farren was born in Armstrong county, near Parker's Landing, September 17, 1866, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Farren, long deceased. He is survived by his wife, four sons, and three daughters: Frank Farren of Cranberry, Timothy Farren of Whittier, Cal.; Walter and Theodore of Emporium, Mrs. Harry Burr of Buffalo, N. Y.; Mrs. Samuel Boyer of Roulette, Miss Martha Farren of Emporium. Also the following brothers and sisters: George Farren of Rockland, Willis Farren of Ten Mile Bottom, Thomas Farren of Saguas, Cal.; Mrs. Charles Cox of Conneaut, Ohio; Mrs. Edward Karnes of Pinoak, Mrs. Floyd Hendershot of Danville, Ohio. Interment was made in the Rockland cemetery.
