GOLCONDA, Ill, — Harriet Maxine Walker, 62, of rural Golconda died Friday at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
She owned Tri State Painting Company and co-owned Walkers Painting Company. She also worked as an EMT for Olmsted Lock and Dam and Pope, Johnson, and Hardin counties.
She is survived by five children, Michael L. Walker, William Richard Walker, Dallas Jeffrey Walker, Joshua Andrew Walker, and Patricia Maxine Young; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Walker; and her parents, William E. and Dorothea L. Millis Keaton.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Aly Funeral Home in Golconda with the Rev. Tim Green officiating.
Interment will follow at Palestine Cemetery.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
