Katherine Roman was a Polish Immigrant who came to America around 1903.
I have found a record for a Katorina Roman who immigrated to America on the Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse and arrived in New York on 01 Apr 1903. She departed from the port in Bremen. Last place of residence was Lacko. Lacko was part of Galicia, Poland.
No records have been found as to who her parent's are. It's possible her surname may have a different spelling being she is Polish. I have found some 'Romans' from Poland whose Polish surname was Romanawski. Also Romanik and Vroman.
Wife of Martin Sobleskey (Sobleski). Married in Emmet County, Michigan on 16 May 1906.
1910 Census lists Katherine was born in Austria. Like my grandmother's family, Galicia Austria was part of Poland/Germany.
